Economic development tax credit workshop set for Manteca

MANTECA — The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (Go-Biz) will host a workshop, Nov. 30, in Manteca concerning its tax credit program. The workshop is set for 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Nov. 30 at the City of Manteca Transit Center, 220 Moffat Boulevard.

The workshop will give vital information for businesses hoping to get some of the $243 million available from the California Competes Tax Credit Program. The tax credits for the 2016-2017 fiscal year are aimed at businesses that want to expand in or relocate to California.

The application period begins Jan. 2, 2017.

The workshop is co-hosted by CALED, City of Manteca, City of Ripon, City of Tracy, California Central Valley EDC, Manteca Chamber of Commerce, Northeastern California SBDC – San Joaquin Delta College and the Western Regional Supplier Development Council.
